A mood disorder that occurs during and after pregnancy. If mood changes such as hopelessness, loss of interest in pleasurable activities, and thoughts of harming the baby occur longer than two weeks, you may have postpartum depression.
Anxiety experienced during and after pregnancy resulting in symptoms of constant worry, irritability, racing thoughts, panic attacks, etc.
Postpartum posttraumatic stress disorder is linked with traumatic birthing experiences, or having a previous diagnosis of PTSD. The symptoms of this mood disorder include flashbacks, nightmares, intrusive thoughts, etc.
